Growing numbers of parents are actively seeking an educational experience for their children which exposes them to those historic Judaic-Christian values which promote the development of ethical and moral behavior.
This is precisely the design and intent of the Christian classical curriculum which is at the heart of Regent Schools of the Carolinas.
As a private Christian classical school system consisting of member schools located throughout Mecklenburg County and beyond, students are taught not only subject matter, but also the Judaic-Christian values with which to make moral decisions. By teaching children wisdom and virtue to the glory of God within a Christian classical education environment, Regent Schools demonstrates its unique and crucial role for coping with the moral crises of our time. Nowhere is this need felt more strongly than in the economically disadvantaged westside communities of Charlotte. For example, conversations with clergy, businessmen, community leaders, and, of course, parents have unveiled tremendous support for a Christian classical education private elementary school. It is no secret that many of the children within this geographic area start off their formal education already behind the non-disadvantaged and continue to fall further behind as they progress through other school formats. It is our intention to secure funds that will allow us to scholarship a large percentage of disadvantaged children attending Regent Schools.
