While Regent Schools of the Carolinas is a new school system, it is a continuation of a tradition that stretches back to antiquity. The history of learning in the western world comes from two places.
Today, there
is great interest throughout the United States to rediscover “wisdom
and virtue”—through the Christian classical philosophy and methodology of education.
Over two hundred such schools are currently in operation, and many more are being built today.
