The effort to establish Regent Schools of the Carolinas, a regional system of Christian Classical Education schools is fortunate to be powered by the will of some of the most giving and influential leaders in Charlotte.

With their aid, we are in the process of finalizing the details of multiple schools we expect to open throughout the Charlotte region over the next several years. We plan to establish a wide array of schools that offer instruction from early education through high school. 

The schools that will comprise Regent Schools of the Carolinas will be strategically located throughout the Charlotte region to serve a very diverse population of students and to partner with the region’s impressive resources –  institutions of higher learning, corporations, cultural facilities and community-based organizations such as local churches and YMCA branches. 

Regent Schools is pioneering the concept of establishing schools that positively impact the communities in which they’re located. The energy and passion our students will learn to embrace in the classroom will not stay there. The will extend beyond the walls of the school and world around them.


Innovative Programming
Regent Schools will be known for ground-breaking curricula:

  • Scholarship Opportunities: Through the support of our patrons, we are committed to offering up to 25 percent of our enrolled students a s cholarship, affording them a top-flight education, regardless of economic means.  
  • Physical Fitness: In the face of dwindling physical education programs elsewhere and growing childhood obesity, we will craft a customized fitness program for each child that will enable him achieve his optimum level of physical development. By so doing, we move students forward in assuming responsibility for living a lifetime of physical fitness.
  • Earth Sciences: We will be committed to earth science education that fosters a living ethic of stewardship that prepares our young people for a lifelong appreciation of our planet and the resources they will inherit. 
  • Higher Education: We will establish partnerships with Johnson C. Smith, Wake Forest, and other distinguished Christian Colleges and Universities to assist our graduates in making smooth transitions into colleges that will further their outstanding Christian education.
